Amazing trip! What an adventure. Met wonderful fellow musicians/travel companions on this journey. Was able to sea-kayak and see spawning pink salmon. Went helicopter riding and landed on a glacier where we listened to a concert. Hiked to another glacier and got to play music. White-water rafting in Denali park. The list goes on and on. Alaska Supply outdid themselves! Highly recommend this tour.

Even though we live in Alaska, the idea of trip to some of the remoter regions of Alaska that we seldom or have never visited, AND having Irish music be a key ingredient seemed a splendid way to spend twelve days. The places visited were beyond where most folks visiting Alaska get to see. Lodging ranged from the very comfortable hotel (with moose sighted in the lake below) to a remote Alaskan Roadhouse, with bath down the hall. This trip was planned with Irish music as a key feature including a concert on the Matanuska Glacier and music with reindeer! Most of the trip members were Irish musicians and brought their instruments, so that music was never far away, with classic Irish sessions nearly every night. Great group of people. One person said that this trip was a life changing experience for them, partly because they were truly off the grid, with only SOS available on their cellphone, in some locations. Add in the stunning scenery and range of activities available, from lounging to hiking to river rafting, it was impossible not to feel each day was a grand reward for leaving the beaten track.

A once-in-a-lifetime journey through Alaska, powered by adventure, music, and community. This trip was nothing short of extraordinary. Over the course of 12 unforgettable days, we explored some of the most breathtaking corners of Alaska—not just as tourists, but as a community of musicians and friends brought together by a shared love of traditional Irish music and the wild, open landscape of the north. From kayaking beneath snow-capped peaks while an eagle soared overhead, to flying in a helicopter over a vast glacier and then setting foot to hike across another, every day was packed with awe-inspiring experiences. We didn’t just see Alaska, we immersed ourselves in it. We laughed and even played at a concert among reindeer, jammed on porches and in lodges and saloons, played tunes on glaciers, and turned each stop into an impromptu session hall. Nearly everyone on the trip brought an instrument, and the result was a continuous flow of music, laughter, and connection that made each location feel like home. What truly set this trip apart was the thoughtful and seamless planning from Caitlin and her incredible team. As both organizers and fellow musicians, they struck the perfect balance between structured adventure and spontaneous creativity. Every detail was taken care of. From logistics and meals to making sure we had the space (and the time) to play tunes, rest, and take in the wonder of our surroundings. Caitlin's knowledge and passion for both Alaska and music shone through in every moment. The weather was stunning, the people were amazing, and the scenery left us speechless more times than I can count. But beyond the activities and landscapes, what made this trip so meaningful was the sense of shared experience. It wasn’t just a tour; it was a traveling music session, a roving celebration of friendship and place. I can’t recommend this trip enough to anyone with a sense of adventure, a love of traditional music, and a desire to experience Alaska in a way few others do. Whether you're a musician or just someone who appreciates great company and stunning landscapes, this tour offers something truly unique and deeply memorable.
